Retargeting Without Wasting 40% of Your Spend

Retargeting is the highest-ROAS channel in dropshipping - and the most wasteful when done wrong. Today we build a retargeting playbook that recovers 30–40% of lost carts without burning margin.
The retargeting stack: audiences and windows
Retargeting surfaces your product again to users who have already engaged. This pool is 100–500x smaller than cold traffic but converts at 4–8x higher rate.
Retargeting audiences (in order of conversion likelihood):
- Cart abandoners (added to cart, left without purchase)
- Conversion rate: 8–15% CTR, 3–6% purchase rate - Window: 1–7 days post-abandonment - CPA:
