What we collect
In short
Your account details, billing info, the products you research, and standard usage analytics. That’s it.
We collect information you give us directly and information generated by your use of the service:
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and optional profile details
- Billing data: plan, payment status, and billing address; card numbers are processed by our payment provider and never touch our servers
- Research activity: products you analyze, watchlists, alerts, and saved reports, so the product works
- Usage data: device type, browser, pages visited, and feature usage, collected via privacy-respecting analytics
How we use your data
In short
To run the product, bill you correctly, improve features, and send you alerts you asked for. We never sell your data.
We use your information to provide and improve the service: powering your analyses and watchlists, sending breakout alerts you configure, processing payments, providing support, and understanding which features matter so we build the right things.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your research activity to compete with you or share your product research with other users.
Data retention
In short
We keep your data while your account is active. Close it and we delete personal data within 30 days.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where a longer period is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Aggregated, anonymized marketplace statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights
In short
Access, export, correct, or delete your data anytime. GDPR and CCPA requests honored for everyone.
Regardless of where you live, you can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, export your research, or delete your account entirely. Most of this is available directly in your account settings; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you have additional statutory rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We honor these rights for all users, not just where legally required.
Security
In short
Encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access for our team.
All traffic is encrypted with TLS, data is encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed with modern algorithms, and internal access to production data is restricted to engineers who need it, with audit logging.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law, without undue delay.
