Shopify apps detector
See which apps a competitor has installed by reading the footprint they leave in the storefront: theme app blocks and the script domains of well-known apps, grouped by what they do.
Enter a store above to see which reviews, email, upsell, support and tracking apps it exposes on its storefront.
How it works
- 1
We fetch the store’s public homepage once.
- 2
Apps installed as theme app blocks are wrapped in an HTML comment naming the app’s App Store handle — an exact match, no guessing.
- 3
Apps that inject scripts (reviews widgets, chat, popups, tracking) are matched against a curated list of their CDN domains.
- 4
We group what we find by category and show the theme underneath. Results are cached for 14 days.
Apps are the how. Majorka shows the what.
Best sellers, catalog changes and ad activity for the same store, updated continuously.
Start freeFrequently asked
- Why does it show fewer apps than the store probably has?
- Only apps that touch the storefront HTML are visible from outside. Back-office apps (inventory, accounting, fulfilment), checkout extensions and anything that loads after you interact never appear. Treat the list as a floor, not an inventory.
- What does “Other app blocks” mean?
- An app block whose handle we recognise as a Shopify app but haven’t catalogued by name and category yet. We show the handle title-cased rather than dropping it.
- Can it detect Klaviyo, Judge.me, Gorgias, Rebuy, PageFly…?
- Yes — those and about sixty other common apps are in the signature list, covering reviews, loyalty, upsells, page builders, email/SMS, subscriptions, support, personalization, shipping, conversion and tracking.
- Nothing was found. Is the store hiding its apps?
- More likely the store isn’t on Shopify, is headless, or blocked our request. If the theme was detected but no apps were, the storefront genuinely exposes none we recognise.
